Hurdle Hound
Make space for the next station
Hurdle Hound starts with the space between obstacles. A jump, tunnel and weave line each need their own footprint, but a dog also needs a clear approach and an unobstructed exit. Our course basket keeps stations in sequence so you can consider the whole practice layout, rather than collecting equipment without a plan.
The course planner adds the listed obstacle lengths and your chosen gaps, then compares the result with available length and width. It gives a straight course estimate, not a judgement about the right exercise for an individual dog. Change the sequence as your practice needs change and review the layout again.
A low pause platform, drop-away jump bar and bright markers support different parts of a session. The flexible tunnel needs its compatible anchors, with filling material supplied separately. Start with appropriate guidance, inspect the ground and equipment, and give the dog a calm route through each new task.
